Personalized Editorial Support

For writers who love the idea of working in a supportive and collaborative relationship with a creative coach and editor. We’ll be working together on your book for at least a year, meeting weekly on Zoom. You’ll get step-by-step guidance, my ongoing editorial feedback, unwavering support, and that all-important accountability from an editor who gets your voice and vision. It’s a significant commitment, but one most clients I work with make because they feel so well-supported while they grow as writers, and their books are better for it.

Our creative partnership will walk you through the process of planning, outlining, writing, iterating, and preparing your book to meet the world. It includes:

• • A growing resource library of templates, trainings, accountability and progress-tracking tools, writing tips, articles, and publishing industry insights
  • Weekly book coaching: fifty-minute Zoom sessions for early planning and foundation-building; setting up and maintaining accountability agreements we’ll create together, writing trouble-shooting and mindset coaching; feedback on submissions; and ongoing editorial discussion and guidance
  • Developmental edits of each draft iteration: in-depth, high-level structural feedback focused on theme, voice, structure, flow, story beats, character, and cohesion with specific, detailed suggestions on what to focus on next
  • Substantive/line editing: granular, sentence-level editing of your final draft for clarity, polish, rhythm, and flow 
  • Proofreading: fact-checking, continuity and consistency review, and meticulous scrutiny for typos and other errors
  • Formatting of an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) to send to early readers and/or a clean manuscript formatted for agent or publisher submission
  • Includes free access to Writing Together, because accountability and community make everything easier.

Book Coaching and Editing Package: $11,000, payable as $916 a month for 12 months. A two-month deposit holds your space for up to one year.
